Playgrounds is a research project that explores the capacity of the arts to question, reflect on, and intervene in the city. The research interrogates the archive of Western art to systematize procedures, practices, and ways of playfully approaching the city that participate in the development of contextual practices aimed at activating the aesthetic, political, and ethical dimensions of urban spaces.
The project takes the form of a publication that brings together scores, musical compositions, texts, and working methodologies designed to activate site-specific explorations of the city through strategies drawn from performance, literature, happenings, and public art.
