Landscape of a devastated eros is a scenic study of the states of exhaustion associated with self-exploitation and hyper-productivity in the neoliberal condition. The performance functions as a nosographic catalogue that confronts the audience with the somatisation of neoliberal ideology. A choreography of collapse that employs the metaphor of the perpetual engine to represent the states of neurosis and fatigue.
“Each and everyone senses that their existence tends to become a battlefield where neurosis, phobias, somatisation, depression and anguish are the first signs of retreat.”
