On the streets of New York, an Asian American activist devotes his life to exposing the injustices facing his community through his YouTube channel. But behind his public persona as an influencer and social activist lies a precarious existence, as he struggles to survive by playing music in the subway.
Caught between his public identity as an activist and the hardships of everyday life, Hero follows a man who has turned his existence into a collective cause. But what happens when someone who aspires to change the world can barely sustain himself?
